As a high school ELA teacher I learned the importance of investing in each learner’s social-emotional wellness. This is because I witnessed the impact that anxiety and depression, complex struggles experienced by many young people, can have on a student’s academic growth and sense of self.

In order to invest in a student's academic success, I strive to understand them as a whole individual who needs to be supported holistically.  All of our tutors deeply value this philosophy and strive to embody it in their teaching.
